Ghanaian culture presented in Bulgaria

The Center for Inclusive Education organized workshops for children presenting traditional crafts from Ghana and other world cultures at the Uzana festival in central Bulgaria.

International Friendship Day, 30 July

Since 2011 the International Friendship day is celebrated on 30 July . It used by the United Nations to stimulate dialogue between different cultures and promote respect for diversity. The spread of new technologies and social media has offered new ways of interaction between communities.

World Cup Globalisation

Emancipation Day celebrations in Ghana

From the 29 July to 1 August Ghana is celebrating Emancipation Day. It is an annual event held to commemorate the resistance and liberation of African people and marks the anniversary of the abolition of slavery in the British colonies. This year's event is under the theme "Reuniting the African Family for Development''

Nelson Mandela International Day, 18 July

To commemorate the life and work of one of the most influential and inspiring figures of the past century, the Nelson Mandela International Day is celebrated on 18 July. The UN invites everybody to devote 67 minutes on this day to help others.
