Water, from close

It is one thing to learn about an important issue – water management and water pollution/clean water in this case– and it is another to examine it by scientific methods. This is what the pupils of the Hungarian Apáczai and the Sierra Leonean Aberdeen schools  did paralelly. The Hungarian pupils went to a waste water treatment plant, and also did a chemical water analysis – you cannot imagine what a seemingly clean water contains! The African students went to a water processing company – to see where the clean water comes from.  However, the spread of the ’sachet water’ (clean, drinkable water in plastic bags) raises another environmental problem –  waste.

Water analisys in Hungary – the photos speak for themselves in the presentation
