How It Works

Phase 1: SDG-Focused Workshops

Students take part in facilitated workshops centred on a chosen Sustainable Development Goal. Sessions encourage discussion, research, debate, and reflection.

Skills developed:

• Critical thinking
• Communication and presentation
• Teamwork and problem-solving
Phase 2: Global Collaboration

Students collaborate with schools in different parts of the world, sharing perspectives and learning how global challenges impact communities differently.

This phase builds:

• Cultural awareness
• Empathy and global understanding
• Digital collaboration skills
Phase 3: Creative Expression

A professional creative artist supports students to transform their research and ideas into a creative outcome (e.g. performance, artwork, film, spoken word, or exhibition).

This process:

• Strengthens student confidence
• Encourages emotional expression
• Makes learning visible and meaningful
Phase 4 : School Exchange (Optional Programme)

An optional phase of Global Schools Connect is the School Exchange Programme delivered in partnership with Golden Links Education Consultants.

This exchange programme offers students in the UK the opportunity to:

• Engage with peers from other schools across the continent
• Share project outcomes
• Deepen collaboration and cultural exchange
• These schools would visit the UK and spend a week with their partner school.
• UK schools would also be invited to visit their partner school situated across the continent

The London School Exchange enhances students’ confidence, independence, and sense of belonging within a wider learning community.
